The intention of this project is to create a progressive open space in the historic heart of the city, which will celebrate the life and sincere heroism of Ukrainian opera singer Vasyl Slipak. Modern aesthetics and materials direct our thoughts into the future, give hope to the new progressive history of Ukraine, which was defended and still is defended by our heroic compatriots.
The space, without a rigid linear scheme of use and with heterogeneous visual language, speaks of a deeply democratic vision of the future of our society, where we all have a place and an opportunity to self-realization.
The scene for the performances is located deep in the square, providing visibility for the audience not only within the square, but also from the neighboring streets expanding the number of viewers. The supporting wall, which separates the park and the Andriivs'kyi descent, is formed by fence ledges. This solution also allows to increase the number of viewers due to the "torn" contour of the wall. Fragments of the glass fence visually involve pedestrians in the park, invite inside, and helps to avoid the isolated feeling inside the park.
