U-Haul in the Community Announcement Design Process
I was given this project with a fairly wide scope and not a lot of definition up front. But my client was helpful with feedback and we both exercised patience with the rounds of proofing needed for this design.
This project presented two obstacles: a copious amount of copy AND photos with limited space for either. So I gave two options up front, and they realized they could cut down the copy and give more leeway to enlarge the font size.
With the final design, I wanted to call out the subject's bio without throwing off the hierarchy of the overall piece. My client loved the design and we were able to move forward from there.
The next time this layout needed to be used I was already set with the options I could show my client.
They liked it, but needed to highlight the fact that this content came from a specific social media, so in the final design I mirrored the layout design of the original Facebook post.
They loved it! Now we can use this layout template AND mirror the original posting place without fear that it's not "in theme". Perfect!
