This project is a video game which is the product of 48 hours of intense work in my first GameJam. I was in a team of 4 persons with 3 artists and i was the only designer. We decided to go for a game with less coding and good art. This is what it looks like.
The game was created with Unity and we started from scratches to the final result. Our game is a platformer in which the player has to guide a rabbit astronaut out of a blazing spacecraft. The main mechanic of the game is the usage of a jetpack to escape the raging flame below which slowly moves upward. He also has to navigate through the obstacle of each 3 zones of the game which, if hit, paralyses the player and may lead him to his death.
We are really proud of the final result which is working as intended and our players appreciated our game for his good level of challenge. After such a blitz, I learned a lot of things about game design but also about programming in C# and the unity game engine.
