"Bad + Bitchy is an intersectional feminist podcast with [the] hottest takes on the latest in politics, social issues and pop culture;" and I had the opportunity to work with them on rebranding their social media presence as they pushed into their new season of podcasts!
The new logo is bold, yet feminine with the word "bitchy" in a heavy, pink script to contrast the power of the word and reclaim it in the name of the podcast.
They expressed an interest in something minimal and strong while still retaining their established colors in regards to their social media, too. In order to meet their needs, I ended up with this design featuring three raised fists that not only represents the three women behind the mic, but also represents a commonly recognized icon in current "resist" politics and feminism.
