The University & College Designers Association (UCDA) is dedicated to encouraging designers to use their abilities to help raise awareness of problems plaguing our world. Through the attention, steps to reverse the damage these situations cause can be taken. This poster was made for UCDA’s Design for Education awareness initiative. An education is not only important for an individual, it is something that should be guaranteed to all. The poster focuses on the safety and opportunities brought on by an education. These ideas are brought together through the imagery of a book being used as an umbrella. Instead   of an umbrella protecting the holder from a storm, the book is able to pour knowledge onto the holder.
