2012 Democratic National Convention

My primary responsibility for the 2012 DNC was to manage the design and development of the official convention website (screenshots below) while also populating the site with dynamic multimedia content, from blogs to videos to photos, from 100 days out through the week of the event itself.
I also helped oversee the design and development of the first ever Democratic National Convention mobile app (screenshot below), allowing people everywhere instant access to the convention floor and behind-the-scenes coverage. I also managed the content that populated the mobile app.
I also designed graphic elements for the convention's web platforms as well as internal documents like this hashtag promo sent to official convention delegates.
I helped define the convention's social media strategy, finding different ways to engage the public and involve more people in this milestone political event. Below is a picture of actor Don Cheadle participating in the convention's "I'm There" campaign that encouraged people everywhere to submit photos of themselves with the convention logo to pledge their support of the event. The photos were broadcasted on the convention's website and social media channels and gave way to participation from all across the country.
As I was responsible for all web content, I co-produced and co-shot a number of convention-related web videos that range from volunteer asks, Charlotte community profiles, event recaps, and convention teaser trailers. I helped track down story leads for videos and conducted a number of on-camera interviews.
