New visual Identity and rebranding of petiteCurie.com

“NOTHING IN LIFE IS TO BE FEARED. IT IS ONLY TO BE UNDERSTOOD.”

Petite curie is named after an awesome little lady called Marie Curie, famous for being the first woman ever to win the Nobel prize and for discovering a lot of things that changed the world.

One of her greatest inventions were the Petites Curies (“Little Curies”), mobile vehicles which brought x-ray machines to the battle front in world war I, and that is, of course, why the poor little bunny is being x-rayed.

Me and a friend started this blog in 2011 but after a while we really didn’t know what to do with it so when another friend got involved in late 2012 we decided to change direction completely. We realized we needed a full makeover and started working on what we called “project bunny”; a brand new quirky blogzine!

I have developed the entire graphic identity for this project. The bunny idea came to me almost immediately, because it combined the quirkiness we wanted the blogzine to have with Marie Curie’s X-rays.
