the morris worm virus incident in 1988 effectively brought the internet down for 72 hours. i believe that society has so fast since then, growing from a society with no dependency on the internet to us now, where individuals and entire industries depend on its continued operation. currently we all live in “an age of noise” a
fast world, bombarded with a constant flow of information where technology has shaped us. in revealing this incident i want to encourage people to slow and take more time for consideration, reflection and quiet via careful typographic treatment, referencing a slower era, in situ with other thematically relevant content.
