Stop it Lock it: Student Anti-Burglary Campaign
As a victim of burglary myself I decided it was time to take action and appeal to other students in order to prevent the same thing from happening to them. The campaign presents simple statements that may be considered obvious in relation to preventing crime and attempts to appeal to students though the use of colour and typographic composition which is a play on typical student marketing.

The campaign would be presented around University campuses with the bold typography and contrasting colour schemes being used as a tool to attract attention and provide an underlying message which is expanded on with the information displayed on each poster.

To assist my promotional posters, I produced small hand outs which reflected the identity of the campaign while providing information on how to avoid falling victim to burglary while at University. Each of the cards included a QR code which links directly to the official Facebook page where more information can be found out and the problem highlighted. Door hangers offer the same purpose but with more impact. The hangers can be used as a literal idea of how easy it is for criminals to get to students' belongings, simply by hanging them on the doors of student residencies.

The Facebook page included more information about how crime could be prevented and was a continuation of the bold typographic style seen across other elements of the identity I created.
