‘Wayward’ is a book consisting of a collection of poems, hand-drawn ink illustrations, a write-up and a photo essay.
These are based on a few places in Bangalore, Karnataka, and a poetry fest that took place in the SNGS college in Pattambi, Kerela.
The poems are originally written for the purpose of performance. They do not run along the lines of a single narrative, but are written on the basis of experiences and observations which are not connected in any way.
The illustrations are done with the help of black ink and a single dry brush. They are made in order to accompany the poems.
The write-up is a reflection of the experiences during the poetry fest in Pattambi.
The photo essay is a collection of pictures photographed during all the aforementioned events which took place over the span of fifteen days.
