Let's face it guys, mums have x-ray vision. They see through our lies, know exactly when we are hiding something and correctly walk in only when we are watching rubbish on TV. No matter how well-fabricated our stories are, mums know exactly where the loopholes are.

She knows about "that boy" before you tell her and she may not understand technology very well but she knows exactly what "internet research" you are doing for your assignment.

This is SpiderMaa. Her super human ability? "To find and destroy dirt and dust".

We all have seen our mums spot dust that is invisible to the human eye and get rid of it in the most efficient way possible. We have all witnessed our mums take Spider Man poses against walls and windows, on the floors, in the balcony and even outside the main door to make sure the home is 'spick and span'. If they're not teaching the maids how cleaning is "actually done", they're yelling at you about how messy you leave things in the house.

They have their "way of cleaning and tidying up" and no other way or method is okay. You can try to help with cleaning, but if it's not in the right "way", why do it all? Their precision with cleaning frustrates us but it's why our houses are such comfortable and safe environments.

Salute your SpiderMaa today and for a change help with household chores but please do it "her way".

This is IronMum. Her super human ability is giving "Maa ka Aashirvaad".

Where would we be without our mothers' well wishes, prayers and blessings. No one is more excited about your first day at school, at college or at work; your exams; your promotions; your increment; your wedding; your children's birthdays... the list is endless. Before you set out to do anything adventurous, scary, nerve-wracking or daunting; you can prepare all you want but without 'Maa ka Aashirvaad', something is always missing.

Mothers are our biggest cheerleaders and our life-time fans.

Why don't we turn the tables this weekend and aporeciate them instead?

No one rises quicker to your defense than your mother. It's her instinct to defend you, fight for you and make sure you're okay. No matter how many people think you are wrong, mum will be in your corner upholding you and believing in you. One minute she's grinding chutney for idli, the next she's telling your sibling off for bothering you.

She's fierce. She's for you. She's Captain Amma.

Thanks to The Incredible Milk; we grew to be strong and healthy individuals. Today, let's celebrate our mother's super power that can only be best called "Maa Ka Doodh".

Let's salute our mothers who have braved sleepless nights, cranky tantrums and smelly diapers. They've nourished us, nurtured us and it's their nature to fend for us. They've taken care of us when we were at our weakest and most helpless state; but they continue to do it no matter how old we are.
