This project was to design a poster using type as the dominant feature of the poster.  It had to be a poster about a person (fictional or real) and this person could be alluded to in any format from abstract to realism.
This poster was made by taking 2 phrases uttered by Marie Antoinette (my chosen figure) and repeating them in various patterns until they resembled one of her wigs. The whole poster is made using Garamond.

As she has been dead for centuries, I wanted the poster to have a ghostly, whispy look hence the dark background and the white text/wig.

The phrases are:

"Je n'ai même pas avoir de regrets"

"Courage! Je l'ai montré pendant des années, je pense que tu perdra au moment où mes souffrances sont à la fin?"
The following phrase was never actually said by Marie Antoinette, but she has become synonymous with it so I thought I'd use the words in a poster advertising her execution by guillotine.
