Ajyal Youth Film Festival is an annual event, run by the Doha Film Institute in Qatar. Jurors aged 18 and under from all over the world travel to Qatar to experience and judge the film festival.
I worked alongside four other designers to create all design assets for the festival. I worked on the national advertising campaign, publications, invitations, wayfinding, signage and venue branding. All design work produced was bilingual, typeset in Arabic and English.
The almost endless budget gave us the opportunity to be very experimental with print work. Die cutting, embossing, foiling and printing in premium inks on beautiful paper stocks was just standard procedure.
