A tableware that praises all the senses immersed in the experience of eating, designed in collaboration with the Chef Guillermo González for his restaurant: Pangea; well known since its foundation 20 years ago as one of the best gastronomic proposals in Monterrey.

One of the Chef’s requirements for the design was to transmit the identity of the city in the form and aesthetics of the collection. Through textures and colors, these objects speak about their context and the mountains that surround the city. These pieces make up a graphic abstraction of the emblematic topography of the region.

After several sessions of co-creation with Chef Guillermo, the studio worked lalong with Cerámica Suro to develop the designs at their factory. Each piece owns simple but strong expressions combining earthed and oxidized color transitions along with organic forms; according to their specific functionalities. To execute the patterns and surface treatments inspired by mountain chains, the artisans of Cerámica Suro combined complex drawing and painting techniques that showcase mastery and quality in each piece.

The collection is integrated by a bread plate, a soup plate, a dessert plate, a vessel, and a salt container; elements which are present in the table during culinary scene.This tableware is intended to provoke a unique appreciation of the Pangea experience, a proposal that remains at the forefront of Mexican gastronomy.
