Patrón Hollywood Sign

Outdoor signs go up and down, but this neon line is standing the test of time.
FAME IS FLEETING. PERFECTION IS FOREVER.
These words have been shining from the roof of the Bank of Hollywood building on the corner of Hollywood and Vine since 2011. It has now lived beyond its original campaign to serve as a flashing neon welcome and warning to all those who come here seeking Tinseltown’s rewards.
Cool Note:
It’s become so much a part of the iconic Hollywood landscape that it was one of the landmark signs used in the movie La La Land to establish the movie’s glitz and glamour. Check it out  at 13 minutes in. It only flashes in the upper left corner for about three seconds. I feel confident that confident that if it were there for a full five seconds, La La Land would have won the Oscar.
