First and original ScanArt branding from startup in 2008
The branding had to be flexible and incorporate a Scandinavian look and feel. The three main colors where picked from the three represented countries in the exhibition; Norway (blue), Sweden (yellow), and Denmark (red). The profile has changed from year to year and still is alive today, being incorporated into paintings and illustrative styles.
For the exhibition spaces, the logo can be incorporated into the space by using thread.
This illustration shows how the logo also can work as a tactile element.
ScanArt 2009 took on a more simplistic look with only one main color and shades of black.
The blue represented the cold north that all the participants came from.
This year we had artists from all over Scandinavia.
