The decision to design, develop and build my own site had been on the cards for some time. Having dabbled in web design for several years – a self-taught process instigated when we needed a new replacement website for where I previously worked, which was built using Flash. Thrown in at the deep end, the steep learning curve forced me into this arena, and fortunately I loved every minute of the challenge. 

Having initially built the replacement site using Squarespace 5, the template limitations imposed too many restriction as to how I wished for the company's site to look and feel, which resulted in some heavy CSS hacking. I eventually got it to where it needs to be!

Now, many years on and with several Squarespace sites under my belt, it was time for me to concentrate on putting my own site together.

Once again, with a vision of what I wanted to put out there, no template was fitting the desired requirements. I decided to build my own site from scratch, with some serious help from the internet. 

Burrows.Design has been handcrafted from the ground up, painstakingly tweaked, and monochromatically enhanced to really show off my logo creations. A real labour of love that took around 4 weeks of late evenings to put together. I'm super pleased with it, and hope you like it too.
