Chasing sunsets in Abruzzo
Abruzzo is a beautiful, but little known region of Italy. Located in the perfect centre of the Italian boot, it is a wild land, offering a variety of landscapes: from mountains to seaside, from hills to countryside. Abruzzo hosts three national parks, the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga Park, the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise and the Majella National Park, and a number of regional parks, like the Sirente-Velino one.
In some few days between 2018 and 2019 I explored a part of this land, chasing the sun setting over stunning monuments and mountains.
