Pecha Kucha - Inspire Japan

On April 16th 2011 the Pecha Kucha community from around the globe joined together for a very special event to raise money for Architecture for Humanity, to help rebuild some of the worst affected communities in the aftermath of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
While working as a design intern at Proof in Galway, I was heavily involved in organising, branding and advertising the event. The poster and banner designs is symbolic of the broken state of Japan following the tragic events. The words 'Inspire Japan' promt an invitation for people to come together and help Japan in their time of need.
