First concept idea.. requirements were to try and include all 3 of the animals they dealt with but Lamb was the main so lamb was made to stand out from the other 2 in the design.. however though they liked the idea it was still too a contemporary design and needed a more "ranch" feel to it.... back to the drawing board

Logo concept 2 - focus was this time round kept more on the name instead chose the rope look that could help with the ranch effect.. the typography is as close a match to their original as could get.. the animals were still included but as a more subtle effect... where there is usually the lines under ranch names I went for the representation of the animals as well as the fact they are grass fed and pasture raised.
