Jerk detector is an app that scans people before you befriend them, to keep you safe from backstabbers. This motion piece is a promotional proof of concept for this (make believe) app.
This is a commentary on how we judge people at the first glance. This is a comical take on judgement and human mentality to rate and tag things and natural as the process might seem, how terrible the concept might be the way we've been using it rating Uber drivers, and service providers and other people in general.
The storyboarding started simply with the concept of understanding how backstabbing works and how people might be warned against it. Building it up, I added characters and tried to make it humorous. With likeable imagery and subtle colours.
