As part of the online community, Mixed.Parts, I submitted this animation for the 6th edition of the Mixed Parts Brief. With each brief, artists from all over the world are given a color palette and a loose theme to create a unique 5 second animation.

The theme for this brief was "2018." For me personally, 2018 was the year that I finally escaped my own head and started getting down to work making the art I wanted to see in the world. Sometimes as an artist it can feel like you're stuck and can't move forward but with enough persistence you'll be able to break out and create more freely.
