One of the big concerts in developing and doing the illustration work for clients is the time consumption involved. The way in which I try to handle this is via the approach of using cross media techniques. Most of my designs originate as a pencil drawing, and dependent on the final style they are either scanned into the computer and completed, or are drawn to a final state with pencil and then scanned and 'live traced' in Illustrator. This has proven to be a great time saving process, and the end results are clean and scaleable to the clients needs.
