The firm I interned with, Trampoline Design, has done a lot of work for the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls. Named for a billionaire and philanthropist responsible for our local theme park (Six Flags Great Escape), a camp for children with critical illnesses (Double H Ranch) and many other things, the Wood Theatre  brings great performances to the Southern Adirondacks.

I was asked to create a poster for the Texas Tenors, a country opera group that came to fame through Americas Got Talent. Once that was completed I also designed the accompanying ads.

After an initial round of ideas, I submitted a more illustrative interpretation that reflected the western feel of the group. It wasnt accepted because the client preferred a photographic solution. (As it was explained to me, one of the group's selling points is their "prettiness." I agree. They're rather dashing.)

The ad was based on the final poster and published in The Lake George Mirror.
