Addis Ababa is the capitol of Ethiopia, with a population of approximately 5 million people. I visited the homes of some orphans that one of our Equitas partners in Africa is supporting. Most of these children have been orphaned by AIDS and are now living with extended families. The hosts were so gracious, and insisted that we have our fill of popcorn and dark Ethiopian coffee. I also visited a school where one of the orphans is attending. Here are a few shots from the week. I’ll be blogging more in the days ahead.
