Starboard & Port are no ordinary professional photographers. Their keen eye for design, extraordinary work ethic and uniquely approachable personalities causes them to be highly in demand. They also have a longstanding history of giving out epic promotional gifts to clients and potentials.

So when they asked me to work on their newest promotional entry which would be the first to actually display their work instead of just being a nice giveaway, I jumped at the chance. I worked closely with them to develop True Tales to Shiver Your Timbers a vehicle by which they could periodically update and highlight projects telling the stories as the photography itself is being showcased.

As a companion to this, I also concepted and developed Build-A-Captain, a set of interchangeable stickers that invite the user to playfully create all while experiencing a bit of S&P humor.

Several illustrations were created in a vintage nautical theme to further build out Starboard & Port's visual brand vocabulary.
