This is a "Before and After" collage. The orginal photograph, taken in the afternoon, is in the upper left corner. The first edit, using GIMP, changed the hue and saturation. The last edit, also using GIMP, created a framed image of an alligator at sunset in the mist.

The video was created from a series of photographs taken at Yellowstone National Park. A grizzly sow was teaching her one-year-old boar cubs to hunt. (Photographs by Robin McVay, copyright 2013)
