Andrade wanted to pay homage to the warriors who protected their freedom and the stars at nights as the map of the sky. Bacanora Andrade wants to take the taste and the essence of Sonora beyond all borders.

El bacanora es una forma de recordar el vínculo tan cercano que tienen el desierto, la sierra y quienes lo han habitado por años. Andrade busca rendir un homenaje justo a los guerreros como protectores de la libertad y a las estrellas en las noches como el mapa del cielo. Bacanora Andrade busca llevar el sabor y la esencia de Sonora más allá de las fronteras.

The tight relation between the history of the region and the rustic origins of Bacanora invited us to work on a custom type setting that resembled the forms found on drawings, caves and native art. The exclusive use of black and white helped us represent the depth of the desert at night and the pureness of a product that speaks for itself. Last but not least, the creation of a complementary icons set and the use of textures closed the brand style while making a reference to the origin of the product.

La estrecha relación entre la historia de la región y los orígenes rústicos del Bacanora nos llevaron a buscar un estilo tipográfico personalizado que asemejara las formas encontradas en grabados y artesanías. El uso exclusivo del blanco y negro nos ayudaron a representar la profundidad de las noches en el desierto y la pureza de un producto que habla por sí mismo. Por último, la creación de la iconografía secundaria y el uso de texturas nos permitieron cerrar la imagen de la marca haciendo referencia al origen del producto.
