Cover art for Hip-Hop artist Darrin McLaren

I was given the original artwork below to use as the feature cover art for the album. I spent a considerable amount of time retouching, color-correcting and digitally altering the source art which was designed by a student, related to the producer for Darrin whom I knew from previous projects. I did some 3-D modeling in Photoshop, created some original artwork with Illustrator and Photoshop and added additional elements like the smoke and red mist to mimic the 'real' look of the piece from the series.

The back cover used elements found in the front cover art.
