Let's rewind and go back in time, to the time of the Ancient Egyptians. The building of the Pyramids, the sandy, desert atmosphere, now imagine the civilization, the colors, the writings on the wall, the stories told by those letters and the way of life. Our roots are very important, both personal and professional. And in this case, they are one and the same, they are Egyptian.
We aim to incorporate our Egyptian roots in every step we take and to use it to define us and our products, including how we present ourselves to the people.
Our logos design is inspired by Ancient Egyptian civilization and the colors are drawn from their colors, and taken from the Pyramids and row wood for example. What ties it all together is the roots of the owner of the company, she’s a pure Egyptian lady with the spirit and soul of the authentic Egyptian heritage. She loves Egyptian wood and is very passionate about it, so after a lot of research and and ideas of how to conceptualize the logo and give it a lot of meaning, I decided to mix the Ancient Egyptian heritage with wood strips and some of the tools that are used to turn the raw wood into a final product; tools such as try-square, speed square, T-square and finally various wood angles.
The way the logo is constructed is inspired by the Hieroglyphic language and how it is written either from top to bottom or left to right on a cartouche. The logo can be written in either way and this gives it flexibility, variations and solidarity to its use and to be used horizontally or vertically.
The way the letters are written in the logo is taken from wood pieces, wood machinery and wood tools. From the three pieces of wood stacked on top of each other the E was created, from the table saw machine and it’s rigid points, the letter X was born, in the letters O, T, I and C, they resemble the wood tools that are used in the products.
The logo color palette consists of earth colors, taking inspiration from the colors of sand, the desert, the heart of the wood, as well as being connected to Egyptian heritage through the colors of the Pyramids.
All of the above is the outcome of Ancient Egyptian nature, all combined with earthy wood that has the soul and inspiration of our Egyptian authenticity and heritage.
