Papillons, insectes et libellules.
Pour nous, comme pour beaucoup de photographes animaliers, l'année 2018 a été difficile. Le printemps très pluvieux et la sécheresse de l'été nous ont privés de nombre de nos sujets habituels, en particulier beaucoup de passereaux.
Nous nous sommes donc tournés vers les papillons des Causses du Quercy. Nous ne sommes en rien spécialistes : nous n'avons fait que promener nos objectifs dans la campagne et tenter de saisir quelques uns de ces insectes pour en partager la beauté
avec ceux qui nous suivent.

Butterflies, insects and dragonflies.
For us, as for many wildlife photographers, the year 2018 has been difficult. The very rainy spring and the dry summer deprived us of many of our usual subjects, especially many passerines.
So we turned to the butterflies of the Causses du Quercy. We are in no way specialists: we just walked around the countryside and tried to capture some of these insects to share their beauty.

Ce papillon de 30 à 40 mm d'envergure a ravagé en deux années la quasi totalité des Buis centenaires des Causses du Quercy (France). Si quelques pieds tentent de repartir de la base, une nouvelle attaque laisserait des milliers d'hectares de squelettes pétrifiés.
