This coffee-table book is a social documentation of my lineage. It contemplates my vernacular identity. Relieving the glories of the past through word-of-mouth stories of how a village (My Village!) was born and thrived and is now on a path to ruins. Through a series of photographs (new and from old albums) and a prose-poem (a compilation of every legend, every story I recorded) to go with. In the end it all boils down to my grandfather, a true hero! He was lovingly called Ahmed.

This book is Part 2 of the previous project, containing the original English, full-version prose-poem/compilation of the collected stories in combination with photographs of 'Yenere' Village. The idea is to impart sense of place, identity and the times gone by and spark a kind of thinking that is contemplative of one's very own identity.
