La Imperiosa is the second Crowned Heads regular production brand (following-up ‘Jericho Hill’) released from the My Father Cigars, S.A. factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. We were challenged with taking a defunct Cuban brand and bringing it back to life with new vigor. The original packaging was ornate and beautiful, so trying to improve upon it was a difficult challenge. We implemented a new design that incorporated iconography that was native to Crowned Heads, but paid homage to the original to create a fine balance of old and new.
