I produced and directed this series of high quality installation videos for the market introduction of the Danfoss CLX PV monitoring series. This range of products in intended to provide round the clock monitoring of solar plants and is composed of several units designed for residential and medium sized PV systems. While the products themselves are plug and play, their different audiences required a very clear presentation of what works with which and how the hardware and software interface together. 

 

The tutorials were intended for PV installers, but also for home owners of Danfoss solar plants that might need to do installation themselves. Therefore, all the instructions are very step by step. 

 

The project took two and a half months in all and was especially challenging because of the complexity of the task: producing 9 different video amounting to 25 minutes, all at the same time. Also, they combine live footage with screencaptures, iPad captures and technical diagrams. Luckly, the same talented BBC voice talent as in the DLX film helped us narrate everything in the most interesting way :)
