This collection is inspired by the common struggles a generation of immigrant children face: The knots stumbled upon when tying their own histories to one culture, the conflict of being claimed by a people without losing their own complex identities, and the hopelessness they risk running into upon searching for enriching soil in which they can safely plant our roots.
