Ora et laBora
«Ora et la Bora» is an illustrated book about the Bora, a katabatic wind that blows over Trieste, my hometown.
It is extremely irregular and can go from 0 to 300 km/h, in a very unexpected way; The book goes through an itinerary of the most characteristic spots of the city, which happen to be also my favourite spots to go to when the Bora is blowing. In order to give more authentic feel to the narration, the illustrations are supported by a popular poem of the 19th Century written in dialect.

The aim of this project was to visualize the effects of speed on people and environments, and I decided to pay tribute to this untamable wind that I used to despise immensely, but that I now actually kinda miss.
