'Value Our Planet' packaging range

In this project I addressed the issue of plastic pollution and came to the conclusion that majority of plastic packaging is ’Not Yet Recycled’. I decided to focus specifically on food packaging as it is the most disposed of plastic packaging in everyday life. So I set out to create a new branding for a branch of products under the ‘By Sainsbury’s’ brand, which focused on the environmental impacts of their packaging. 

Through the design I wanted to clearly convey to customers that the packaging is environmentally friendly. Besides I also thought that these illustrations would add lively and optimistic character therefore appeal to customers visually. 
In addition I also created a simple and recognisable logo with the name ‘Value our planet packaging range’. Value our planet summarises the essence of the packaging which reduces plastic pollution, therefore buying these products equals to caring for the planet. Hypothetically this change would increase sales for the brand as well as reducing plastic pollution in the environment.
