Short looping animation of the Loose Screw Tattoo Studio's logo I was commissioned to do last year by the studio's founder and logo designer, Jesse Smith, and now have permission to post! Traditional, hand drawn animation, done in pencil and ink on paper.

 

The objective was to give life to their mascot, and have his tongue waggling around. It was certainly a challenge with its many parts, and getting the perspective right, and keeping everything on-model. Since the animation was supposed to loop back to the original logo, Jesse inked the key frames I had drawn to keep the work consistent, and I then did the in-between frames, and inked those myself.
