The goal of this project was for Lower to establish a solid online platform, allowing them to clearly communicate the brands roots, and tell the story behind the now 18 year old label, whilst also being able to sell select products directly to the consumer.
Imagery was a big focus in the design process, as I wanted Lower to be able to show off its products in the best light possible , whilst also draw emphasis to the various campaign shoots , capsule collections and seasonal ranges they produce throughout the year , which always have a solid backstory and concept behind the products.
Usability was also another big focus , everything designed within the website has a purpose , and there are no unnecessary extras which could make navigating the site difficult or slow down page loading times. Fixed headers , and a slide out burger menu make navigation a breeze no matter where on the page you are, and the search bar in the top right allows for quick searches to be executed effortlessly. The Product page is another good example of this logic , with the product information on the right side staying fixed on desktop , while the product imagery scrolls with the mouse wheel , allowing the viewer to quickly view the product and add to cart if they wish.
