HBA Brand Refresh

HBA Rebrand
The Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA) is a national organisation that represents hospital, health and wellbeing broadcasting across the UK.

As part of my role as Communications Executive, I deal with a variety of people and tasks on a daily basis. One of the biggest projects I’ve undertaken with the Communications Team recently is to rebrand the organisation, making it fresh, colourful and inviting for our members, stakeholders and the general public.
The finer details
The organisation uses Museo Sans fonts at various weights. These fonts have transitioned across print and online platforms. The secondary font is Arial, which can be used by the organisations volunteers on HBA branded templates.

Curves in the lower right hand corner, derive from the middle arc of the A in the logo, along with solid and transparent blocks to the right hand side allow space for large images on the right, especially on social channels. The right hand corner curve works well across all platforms, whilst the right hand panels work well as backgrounds on print and digital.

The bottom right hand corners can be used as a placement for logos or extra content, calls to action etc.
The branding isn't just confined to social media. I've also updated corporate documents, ranging from letterheads and presentations to business cards and document templates. This fresh, uniformed look is the first major change to the organisations branding for a number of years and has been welcomed by the Trustees.

It's a rebrand that is still ongoing and will continue to be ongoing throughout 2019 with a soft rollout.
The HBA represents hospital, health and wellbeing broadcasting in the UK and currently has around 200 member stations who deliver programmes to hospitals, care homes and communities around the UK. You can find out more about the HBA by visiting hbauk.com
