As necessidades:
- alimentação: deve ser rica em grãos, por exemplo o alpiste;

Project developed in the discipline Atelier for Design I of the Master's course in Product Design, Superior School of Arts and Design (Caldas da Rainha - Portugal)
Briefing: starting from the reflection on the relationship between men and animals, develop proposals that
promote interaction between the two, for the domestic space, and that are neutral or positive symbiotic relationships for those involved.
Inspiration: the habit of the cockatiels (and other birds of the Cacatuidae family) to land on the shoulders and hands of their tutors and to tinker with the accessories they are using, often removing gems from earrings and rings.
The idea: pieces of jewelry that allowed the interaction between humans and birds and that would meet some of the needs of the latter.
The necessities:
- feed: must be rich in grains, for example canary seed;
- growth of the beak: birds need to wear/sand their beaks in order to avoid that it grows too much, becaus it can generate diverse health problems. Such wear can be done with materials like pome stone and wood.
