Client:
Doobacco is the waterpipe-tobacco manufacturer for hookah base on Germany. They sell in Europe, Asia, and Middle Eastern countries. They produce high-quality waterpipe-tobacco in the world. Their goal is producing high-quality tobacco with organic flavors. They try to make a well-known brand that was not existing in this industry before.
Client Challenge:
Before Doobacco, all brands in the market provide waterpipe-tobacco in a regular package and their quality of product and packaging were not good enough. Usually, their package leaking has a very unprofessional design, and also unorganized info for gradients. Doobacco wants to provide high-quality products but the problem was the price.
How can convince customer for the higher price?
How can make the product which is adapted to their culture.?
Solution:
- For logo we use serif font as traditional products and smoke.
- We try to build up nice looking brand that shows the quality of the product. For packaging, something like a drink can and perfume box.
- Also, we try to use orientalism pattern for adaption with Arabic culture that Hookah comes from.
- We designed the labels for flavors with a cool idea like Rock Melon, Techno, and R&B. Usually, other tobacco use just fruit.
- We made different edition base on our personas. Silver Edition as basic merchandise. Black edition for cold flavor and a little higher price. Pink edition with light flavors for ladies. Gold Edition for expensive restaurant and bar.
