'Waste' Typography

Typography Experiment
Although almost everyone knows it is unhealthy to use styrofoam food packaging, it is still commonly seen in food selling places today. The aim is to create typography based posters to remind people to reduce the use of styrofoam food packaging.

I.  ALTERNATIVES

A world without styrofoam food packaging is not that scary, we have a lot more alternatives such as cardboard box, paper bag, paper cup, brown paper wrap and even panda leaf. Therefore, I used these mentioned materials to create the word 'waste' (keyword from the topic). Moreover, I used clay to make food sculptures in order to enhance the whole concept.
II.  INVISIBLE DANGER

When food comes in contact with styrofoam food packaging, it releases a chemical called styrene which is cancerous. Similar to virus and bacteria, it is microscopic but very harmful to the human body. Thus, the word 'waste' is created using clay sculptures of bacteria and viruses.
