Down the Block Website

Down the Block was a website built for my Web 3 class. My intention was to build a space where users can upload photos and write up descriptions of buildings, places, and even landmarks around Brooklyn. It was not meant to be a source of information, so much as a place for users to share what they like about certain neighborhoods.
I started my project by first researching possible competitors within this space
Wireframes
For the logo, I wanted to capture the feeling of New York City's skyscrapers. I purposefully chose Helvetica, as it was a recognizable font in the city's subway system.
