March is Women's History Month, and I was asked to make a poster campaign to create awareness, as well as to inform students on campus of the events that will be taking place. I decided to highlight five women, some past and some present, who played a significant role in women's rights and empowerment. The theme given to me was the concept of "the perfect 10." Each of these women are a perfect ten because of their contributions to society, regardless of what they look like.
Knowing very little about women's history, I crowd-sourced my research and asked my peers who they thought the most influential women in history were. I got a tremendous response and learned a lot! I will also note that I would have spent more time on the channel masking and halftones, but these posters were pushed out under a VERY tight deadline.
