A final major project in my Foundation in Art & Design course. As an experienced backpacker in Asia and Australia I found that there are many issues related to traveling during a long period of time. The goal of the project was to find and solve a specific problem by creating a product that could make life easier while traveling.

 

The design process is based on a questionnare among frequent travellers and backpackers in order to find and understand the major issues. The development process is an exploration of flat pack and foldable solutions. 

 

The final products consists of flat pack bowls, a cup and a jug. They would be produced in sillicone in order to be foldable and withstand heat. 2011.
