When I first entered the existing train station felt the dynamics surrounding me, people moving, sound smell… all my senses were intrigued and that is what inspired me to think of a contrasted architecture, that materializes perfectly what I have felt and seen.

The site is at the finish of a very important axe of the city a focal point leading to a perspective you cannot ignore.

The new design of the train station in Tunis is a dynamic project, in movement, a deconstructed architecture. Thus the nearby Medina of Tunis and the colonial neighborhood existing was a challenge to not disturb that urban façade. The dilemma was to design a contrasted project to its environment or to conceive an architecture that fits harmoniously into that urbanism.
