When it comes to shopping for electronics, we all wish we had a Geek in the family we could get advice from. Not some salesman, but an expert who actually owns the technology they’re recommending. Newegg is home to over 16 million Geeks offering their honest, unfiltered opinion on the technology they buy. So we used real Newegg Geeks and their reviews to set Newegg apart from all the traditional electronics megastores. It turns out that people are really into that sort of thing.

We armed students with manipulative web videos, emails, and banner ads that would stalk their parents across the internet. The result? All of the laptops we promoted were sold out before the end of the campaign.
