Pieces of this installation can be found on shelves like you see them in a pantry. Sealed in glass, the litographies depicting different parts of the female body have been assembled based on another online research.
No matter which body part we look up online, we will find an article about its idealized shape, and what we must do to reach it. The artist created the „most flawless” version of each body part this way. However, as we rotate the glass, the image warps and transforms , as do all of our ideals. The placement in different sized glasses suggests the close-minded vision that plagues our time: body modification, the shunning of imperfections and the objectification of our bodies, while it also expresses how the internet sustains our strive for perfection by changing the very definition of perfection constantly, thus making our struggle endless
