Which people in life inspire you the most? Why?

I am most inspired by people who have difficult situations and they take ultimate ownership over their situation and they do something about it. For some reason it keeps coming to me, I was at Lembongan (off of Bali), it was like 9 o’clock at night and there was this little kid on the beach, and he was selling bracelets (his parents and nobody is around him) because he had to make money. It’s sad that a child that young would have to do that. I had a great amount of respect that he was doing what he had to do. Especially when I look at some of the entitlement that I experience in America that I see people have in America...people don’t have a job and they just complain, sit around and do nothing.

I gave the kid $100 and he went behind the tree and he counted it and he was looking at it and put it in his pocket and he went right back to selling. It inspires me most because I’ve had a lot of hardships in my life like in 2017 when I started my company and everything started to go uphill, I got cancer. I had this vision that I wasn’t going to let this stop me. That inspires me when I see that in other people, because there’s so many things that can keep us down in life and ultimately at the end of the day we have a choice to do something about it!

What do you think makes your work stand out?

I would say, tenacity of finding the solution to any business problem. I find business especially in the B2B space, making money is about solving problems...most companies or people in general fail to see the opportunity in problems. As soon as they come up against a problem or things aren’t working, they get discouraged and they give up. What they fail to realize is the money profit comes from overcoming problems.
